Tosoh America, Inc. serves as the parent and holding company to the 6 US subsidiaries of Tosoh Corporation and provides Human Resources, Financial/Accounting, and Information Technology support services to the North American companies collectively known as Tosoh Group America.  

Our group of companies are engaged in advanced technology fields ranging from the manufacture and sale of semiconductor and solar materials, to the sale of medical diagnostic instruments, high performance liquid chromatography (HPLC) and bio-separation media, and a wide range of other chemicals and advanced materials. These operations encompass manufacturing, distribution and sales, regulatory and technical support as well as equipment servicing, serving customers in the IT and high-tech, chemical, pharmaceutical and medical industries.

The End User Support Analyst provides customer support, service and technical support through analysis and problem resolving to enable installation, maintenance, education, implementation and documentation of a variety of software and hardware technologies using remote communication or through phone to the client or the end user.  The individual needs to be able to provide support and expertise around Level I and Level II Infrastructure and Application Support and work with an End-User to resolve IT issues.

Reporting Relationships

 

The Sr. End User Support Analyst reports to the Infrastructure Supervisor.

 

Major Duties and Responsibilities

 

  • Log all incoming support calls from users and attempt to provide resolution to basic user issues such as password changes, printing, Laptop and PC errors, system configuration, imaging, and general "How do I" questions.
  • The End User Support Analyst will also be responsible for lifecycle management of all PCs and laptops for the enterprise. This involves logging all incoming requests, obtaining quotes from vendors, obtaining approval for the orders, and imaging all units when they are received.
  • Regular participation in a 24x7 on-call phone support rotation and occasional work during non-standard work hours is mandatory.

 

Education

 

  • Associate's degree in Computer Science, MIS, Engineering or related discipline
  • IT related certifications such as CompTIA A+ or Network + are desirable.

 

Skills and Qualifications

 

  • 2-5 years' experience in a Break-Fix, Desk Side Support environment handling IT related calls from end users.
  • The successful candidate must be able to provide first level support for printing issues, password changes, connectivity issues and remote access questions as well as Second level application support and troubleshooting.
  • Experience with Windows 2008/2012/2016 Server Administration, Remote Desktop Services, Windows 7, Windows 10, MS Office Suite, and PC imaging applications is necessary.
  • Experience with Office 365 Administration and software
  • Experience with TrackIT or another Ticket tracking application is also desirable.
  • Experience in a manufacturing, sales and distribution environment with significant number of remote users is also desirable.
  • Experience with Network Monitoring Applications is desirable.
  • Experience supporting users in a Microsoft Exchange environment is also desirable.
  • Experience with basic support of VoIP phone system is also desirable.
  • Experience with iOS phones and tablets as well as Mobile Device Management (MDM) platforms.
